The “window boxes” along the walking trail at Wellfleet Harbor are all planted and beautiful. You can look out and see the beautiful boats in the harbor through the flowers. Have you seen them yet? So pretty!
The picnic tables were out and the umbrellas were ready to put up at Mac’s on the Pier in Wellfleet. It’s a great place for a picnic, whether you have some of their delicious food or bring your own. The views are hard to beat!
Every time we hike the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp Trail in Wellfleet, I have to smile whenever I see this guy. He looks like a pre-historic animal who greets everyone along the trail. You can see his mouth and his eye and his very long snout. He even had a few pieces of hair poking out!

When you hike down to the boardwalk on the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp, you enter a magical place. The colors, the reflections, the ambiance of it all takes your breath away. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
