It always brings a smile to my face when I see a Red-Tailed Hawk sitting on one of the street signs waiting for breakfast or lunch to scurry by below. This guy was patiently waiting as many passers-by stopped to take his photograph.
Have you ever seen a hawk hunting from a street sign?
We’ve seen a lot of lobster pots being hauled out at Hemenway Landing in the past couple of weeks. I loved these 2 photographs of the lobster pots piled up, waiting to be taken away. (Click on blog link to see other photo.) I couldn’t decide which one I liked better. What do you think?
The fall colors were so pretty around the pond at Beech Forest Trail in Provincetown the other day. If you’re up that way, you still have another week or two until the leaves on the trails really show their fall colors!
This boat was making its way out at high tide through the channel markers at Rock Harbor. I loved the early morning lighting with clouds on the horizon.
The lavender Asters are blooming everywhere you look on Cape Cod. If you look on the sides of the roads or the sides of the trails, I’m sure you will see many of them!
Delicate little wildflower, don’t you think?
