I found this bench on the beach at Flax Pond in Nickerson State Park in Brewster. It looks perfect for just about anything! You can hike around the pond until you find a bench or you can park your car fairly close and just walk there.
This one looks pretty inviting, don’t you think? Have you found the perfect bench to relax?

On our latest new hike we came across this tree trunk that I thought was hilarious! It looks like a moose’s hoof, don’t you think? And the tree is probably 30 feet tall.
You never know what you will see on the trails as long as you keep your eyes open and look for those unique things!
The Nauset Trail hike by the Eastham Visitors Center has so much diversity. I love the boardwalk over the salt marsh just past Salt Pond. (Click on blog link for full photo.)
We always love the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp Trail in Wellfleet. It is so diverse with part of it through the pine forest and than part of it over a boardwalk through White Cedar Swamp. It is really pretty any time of the year.
Have you ever hiked the boardwalk over Atlantic White Cedar Swamp? Pretty cool, don’t you think?
