These two Bluebirds have been hanging out at the birdhouse right by our bedroom window. They go in and out and perch on top for long periods of time. I wonder if they will “move in” and make this their home for the winter. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
I saw this old Horseshoe in the beach grass near the flats on Cape Cod Bay. It is covered with shellfish and barnacles that have attached themselves to its shell. It looks ancient… I wonder how old it is.
It’s been cold enough to form ice on the salt marshes here on Cape Cod. I took one photograph as I was walking to Boat Meadow Beach the other day and the other photo on the way home about 1/2 hour later. (Click on blog link to see other photo.)
They are so pretty, but so different. Look at those clouds!
I love hiking White Cedar Swamp Trail, especially off-season. Rarely do you see another person, so you have the whole trail to yourself. Once you get to the boardwalk, it becomes magical.
Look at those colors! They are just spectacular! I took these photographs a couple of days ago on a very cloudy day. It always takes my breath away.
