The boats were ready for the campers to arrive and enjoy their time out on the water on Cliff Pond. There were sailboats and canoes and kayaks… lots to choose from and a beautiful day for some new adventure!
We were taking a walk at Wiley Park a couple of days ago when we saw these kayakers paddling by the little opening to Great Pond. It was so pretty. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
So we clicked away and got two fun photos of some of the kayakers. Love those clouds…
Yesterday was one of the “10 best”days here on Cape Cod with the temps in the high 60s and sunny with a little breeze. Just perfect. Hopefully you got to spend a little time enjoying the outdoors with the colder temperatures looming around the corner. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
We watched these two kayakers land at Boat Meadow Beach. What a beautiful setting. And then… two Yellowlegs flew in which you can see better in the 2nd photo.

There are many ways to get to Pleasant Bay and one of them is by paddling down the Namequoit River in Orleans. This kayaker was enjoying the last part of her trip out to the bay along the quiet and winding river. #orleans #namequoitriver
The kayak racks at Hemenway Landing are starting to fill up with kayaks and canoes. Pretty soon it will be warm enough to take that much-anticipated paddle out into Nauset Marsh!
We saw this interesting kayak that had washed up by Nauset Marsh the other day. We wondered how long it’s been out there and where it’s been. I bet it has lots of stories to tell…
