Yesterday morning couldn’t have been nicer for a long hike at Fort Hill. I just loved this pastoral view of the landscape looking up the hill from the trail.
Beautiful, don’t you think? Love that sky!
The Beech Forest Trail in Provincetown is so diverse. You never know what birds or animals or wildflowers you might see as you hike on the trail over the boardwalks or up the steps. (Click on blog link for other photos.)
It’s always been one of my favorite hikes… no matter what time of the year.
Have you ever hiked the Beech Forest Trail?
The Red-winged Blackbirds are back and noisy at Fort Hill. You can always hear their distinct “Cu-ca-ree” calls to each other as you hike the trails. They are so pretty and a sign that spring is almost here!
This guy was sitting on a fence post just singing away. Love his coloring… so bright and vibrant!
