What’s That Big Boat Doing In Nauset Marsh On Cape Cod?

We were at Fort Hill yesterday morning when Phil said, “What is that big boat doing down there in Nauset Marsh?” It looked huge! I took a look and thought, “Wow!”

We got the binoculars out and… got a good laugh! It wasn’t a boat at all, just an optical illusion of the intersection of the waters on Nauset Marsh that made it look like a boat. Too funny… Hahaha!

 

Red-Winged Blackbird At Fort Hill On Cape Cod

You can always hear the distinct “Cu-ca-ree” call of the Red-Winged Blackbird as you hike around Fort Hill. They are everywhere and so pretty.

This guy was sitting on a fence post just singing away. Love his coloring… so bright and vibrant!
