Lone Daffodil In The Woods By Our Home On Cape Cod.

I am always surprised to see a little glimpse of yellow in the woods behind our house at this time of year. (2nd photo is of the Daffodil in the woods.) It is the one Daffodil that faithfully grows there each year and lets us know that spring is surely coming.

Can you see it? So pretty, don’t you think?

Getting Ready For A Picnic At Beech Forest Trail In Provincetown On Cape Cod.

I can’t wait until it gets a bit warmer and we can head up to Provincetown for a picnic on Beech Forest Trail, part of the National Seashore just outside of the center of Provincetown. It is such a pretty trail over a boardwalk where you can see many different species of birds, through the forest and around Blackwater Pond. It’s a  “must” if you’re in the Provincetown area!

And there, at the end of the trail is the perfect picnic table to relax and enjoy nature.

Beautiful Little Black-Capped Chickadee In Our Yard On Cape Cod.

This Black-capped Chickadee was enjoying a drink at the little birdbath which we put in our yard last summer, thinking the little chipmunks and squirrels would like it to get a drink.  Little did we know that birds of all sizes from the little Chickadees to the Northern Flickers love it too!

Beautiful Reflections At Hemenway Landing On Cape Cod…In Black And White Or Color?

It only lasted a minute when there wasn’t a ripple in the water and you could see the reflections of these three boats all lined up on Nauset Marsh. And then the wind kicked up… I couldn’t decide if I like black and white or color better.

What do you think?

Two Perspectives At Coast Guard Beach On Cape Cod.

I couldn’t decide which of these two photographs I liked better. It was a gorgeous day at Coast Guard Beach and someone had put a lobster pot by the entrance making a nice photo op. I took 2 photographs from a few feet away from each other.

Which one do you like better?
