Marconi Beach On Cape Cod Before The Storm Last Werk.
1,732 viewsI had taken a few photographs at Marconi Beach last week before the huge storm arrived that lasted 3 days. (Click on blog link for other photo).
The steps don’t look anything like this anymore and you won’t see any umbrellas and sunbathers down there for quite a while. It is truly amazing what Mother Nature is capable of doing.

2,480 viewsIt was such a surprise to see the work that Mother Nature did to Coast Guard Beach during the last storm. It was just incredible! (Click on blog link for other photos.)
The peat from the bottom of a very old kettle pond was unearthed by the recent storm. It is massive!
Even at low tide it was difficult to get past the monstrous pile of peat to walk on the beach. I’ll have to try again in the next day or two.

1,587 viewsMother Nature sure has been busy by Nauset Spit on Coast Guard Beach. As you walk down toward the spit, the beach looks absolutely humongous! There is so much sand. (Click on blog link for other photos.)
You can see there are little pools that lead into little rivers that get filled at high tide. It looks so different. At the very end by the spit, don’t try to walk around to the marsh side at high tide, as the water comes right up to the dunes.
Have you taken a walk on Coast Guard Beach lately? Always so beautiful and constantly changing!
